Small Study Group Training in the Group Relations Tradition
University of San Diego, May 1-3, 2020
The Small Study Group Training is an excellent opportunity to practice group-as-a-whole consulting skills for those who have previously attended a group relations event. Participants rotate between member and consultant roles. Each participant will consult to a Small Study Group. At the end of the session the person receives feedback in public from two senior group relations consultants.
The program is particularly suited for people who
want to develop their group relations skills
want to learn more about the unconscious in groups
are interested in group-as-a-whole methodology
spend lots of time with groups, for example
consultants, trainers, teachers, community organizers

Fee: $450 General, $400 GRI or USD related
Roxanne Kymaani, PhD
Roxanne has been involved with Group Relations work for over 13 years. She has served as Associate Director of Administration and RAG consultant for the On the Matter of Black Lives Conference, Large Group Consultant for USD's group relations conferences, and has attended many group relations conferences as a member. Roxanne will be serving as a consultant in the TransformaCtion conference for IFSI in France in March of 2020. Roxanne has taught group relations based courses at University of San Diego and uses group relations methodology in her teaching with National University's MS in Organizational Leadership and Goucher College's MA in Cultural Sustainability. She is a faculty coach for RISE San Diego's Urban Leadership Development program and Co-creator with Group Relations International.
René Molenkamp, PhD
René has extensive group relations experience. He has staffed and directed numerous group relations conferences and events nationally and internationally. He has trained trained group relations consultants and directors. He is an international leadership consultant and teaches graduate students at the University of San Diego. He is co-founder and Executive Director of Group Relations International.
