Training in Group Relations Consulting
University of San Diego, February 1-3, 2019
Co-sponsored by the Conscious Leadership Academy
Endorsed by the A. K. Rice Institute for the Study of Social Systems
This program is designed for people who want to practice and expand their capacity to "read' the group-as-a-whole and consult to what is happening in the here-and-now. Participants will form both small and large study groups and have an opportunity to rotate into a consultant role for either small or large group, depending upon their level of experience. At the end of the consultation consultant(s) receive immediate feedback in a public setting from one or more senior group relations consultants for the benefit of all participants. A number of spots will be reserved for people who prefer not to take a consulting role, but are interested in the Group Relations model of experiential learning.
The training is particularly suited for people who
- want to develop their group relations skills
- want to learn more about the unconscious dynamics in groups
- are interested in group-as-a-whole methodology
- spend lots of time with groups, for example community organizers, consultants, clinicians, trainers, teachers, etc.
Faculty consists of senior group relations practitioners.
Are you ready to take the chair and consult to the field?
